PDF Pound ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how long we retain it when you use our PDF processing tools at pdfpound.com.

2. Files you upload

When you upload a file, it is stored temporarily on our servers to process your request. Processed output files are stored for a maximum of 1 hour after creation, after which they are automatically deleted. We do not read, analyse, or share your file contents with third parties.

3. Payment data

Payments are processed by Stripe. PDF Pound never sees or stores your card number, CVC, or billing details. When you pay, you are redirected to Stripe's secure checkout. Stripe's own privacy policy governs their handling of your payment data. We only receive a confirmation of successful payment and a session reference.

4. Cookies and tracking

PDF Pound does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking scripts. We may use basic server-side logging (IP address, request path, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention purposes. These logs are retained for up to 30 days.

We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymised usage statistics — including page views, referrer URLs, browser type, and approximate country. This data contains no personally identifiable information and does not use cookies. It is processed by Vercel in accordance with their Privacy Policy.

When you pay via Stripe, Stripe may set its own cookies on their checkout domain. These are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

5. Your rights

Because we do not collect personally identifiable information beyond what Stripe provides, and because uploaded files are automatically deleted, there is typically no data held about you after 1 hour. If you have a specific data request, contact us at the address below.
