Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using PDF Pound (pdfpound.com), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

PDF Pound provides web-based tools for processing PDF and image files (merging, compressing, splitting, converting). The service is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties about processing results or uptime.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload files you do not own or have rights to process
• Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or abuse the service
• Use automated scripts to make repeated requests

4. Payments and refunds

PDF Pound charges £1.00 per processed file download. Payments are processed by Stripe. Once a download has been completed, no refund will be issued. If you experience a technical issue that prevents download after payment, contact us and we will investigate.

5. File retention

Uploaded and processed files are automatically deleted from our servers within 1 hour of creation. You are responsible for downloading your file within this window. We are not liable for files that expire before download.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDF Pound is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or any file processing results.

7. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
